The Student Ambassadors Program was launched by the School of Engineering in 2006. In the past two years, Student Ambassadors representing the Department of Computer Science and Engineering have actively participated in different outreach and recruitment activities, and have helped promoting Computer Science to the public.
This year, we are pleased to announce that three CSE undergraduates who have demonstrated outgoing personality and strong enthusiasm have been selected from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering to serve for one year (from March 2008 to February 2009). In the coming year, they will be representing our department to promote the programs locally.
The three Student Ambassadors this year are:
“ It is my honour to be selected as one of the Computer Science Student Ambassadors of the year. I believe it will be a great opportunity for me to widen my vision and I will try my best to promote our CSE degree programs." Warner said.
“ I am thrilled to become the Student Ambassador of CSE Department. I will try to get more people to learn computer science and thus attract more students to come and study our program. I hope to tell high school student how fun computer science can be." Said Gloria.
“ I am very excited to be selected as the student ambassador this year! This program gives me a chance to broaden my horizon. In this year, I will represent Computer Science and Engineering Department to promote our program to the society and help others understand what computer science is.", said Hang.
