Abstract:

Generating image content is a crucial task in the field of computer vision. 
While advances have been made in random or less complicated conditional 
generation, generating object-centric content remains challenging. This is 
particularly true when it is bound with background conditions and user 
controls, as it requires a comprehensive understanding and manipulation of the 
background and object geometry, texture, and lighting. This thesis provides a 
summary of the related knowledge and illustrates our original achievements in 
addressing this challenging task. We showcase the generative ability of our 
proposed works on various daily backgrounds collected by users, specifically 
the single view 360-degree images or multi-view perspective images, along with 
the corresponding user controls over the generated object content.
