The Firebird CTF Teams Win the 1st and 2nd Runner-up in the PwC Hack A Day Cybersecurity Competition 2023

Congratulations to the CSE Firebird CTF teams for winning 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up in the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Hack A Day Cybersecurity Competition 2023, which was held on 7 November 2023! Below is the member list of the awarded Firebird CTF teams.

The cash awards, given by the CSE department, are HKD 3000 for the 1st runner-up and HKD 2000 for the 2nd runner-up, recognizing their excellent achievements.

Hack A Day is PwC Hong Kong's annual flagship event which includes competitions for students to understand more on the ecosystem in Cybersecurity and Cloud. For the 7th consecutive year, Hack A Day offers students a unique opportunity to engage with AI models and tools, showcasing their cybersecurity skills, and competing against talented peers. This year's theme, "Securing AI," highlights the importance of understanding the potential security risks and vulnerabilities associated with artificial intelligence.
