1.4 Feasibility Study

Most FYPs do not need a feasibility study!

No money, no talk. Unless you are going to ask someone for money to fund your project, you probably do not need a feasibility study!

If you are going to approach XYZ Company and ask for $1,000,000, then you need to consider the following to convince them that investing that kind of cash is going to bring back more cash. Show me the money!

Some feasibility factors

Will people pay money to use your system?
What is your budget for three years?
How many months or years do you estimate it will take to recover the initial investment?
What kind of income do you expect after the recovery period?
Can you do it by a certain date / deadline?
Is the market ready for it?
Is Hong Kong the best place to do it?
Do you have the manpower and tools to do it?
Is the project technically possible?
Is it practical in Hong Kong?
Is this the best culture to do it in?
Is it legal in Hong Kong?
