Instructional Assistant
Department of Computer Science and Engineering
The Department has a few openings for the above position starting Winter Term/Spring Term 2012.
The appointee will assist in the teaching of courses and tutorials, in laboratory instruction and in grading of students' work. They will help with the preparation of teaching materials and assist in academic counseling for students. We are also seeking to fill an immediate opening. The candidate will be responsible for organizing outreach activities and assisting in student admission and registration of teaching programs.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant disciplines; postgraduate training would be a plus. Exceptional consideration for admission to the part-time MPhil in computer science and engineering program will be given to successful applicants who are also interested in pursuing postgraduate studies in computer science and engineering provided that he/she satisfies the minimum admission requirements of our postgraduate degree programs. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Medical benefits and paid leave will be provided where applicable.
