I didn't know the reputation of Peking University until the last minute before the college entrance examination. When I was a sophomore in Peking Univ, I already decided to join HKUST. A Few Quotes:
For two reasons I love HKUST. Firstly, the campus is small and beautiful. Everything, e.g. dorm, office, bank, canteen, supermarket, gym, can be reached in five minutes walking distance. I can focus on my research without leaving campus for months if I want. Secondly, labs are always filled with passionate students. They are both very good collaborators and very good friends. HKUST is really an ideal place for pursuing a PhD degree.
