James Tin-Yau KWOK ( )

Dr. Kwok received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the
University of Hong Kong and his
Ph.D. degree in
computer science from the
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He was a consultant at the
Lucent Technologies Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, New Jersey. He then joined the
Department of Computer Science,
Hong Kong Baptist University as an
Assistant Professor.
He returned to the
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2000
and is now a Professor in the
Department of Computer Science and
Engineering.
Currently, Dr. Kwok is serving as Associate Editors for the
IEEE Transactions on Neural
Networks and Learning Systems
and the
Neurocomputing journal.
He is also Program Co-chair of the
International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN-2012), and a Governing Board
Member of the Asia Pacific Neural Network
Assembly (APNNA).
