Design Competition:
Introduction:

Through the Design Competition, campers can demonstrate their talents and creativity to the full. Campers will be divided into small groups (see project grouping) and work on the same project which is "Bringing 2D Images into Life".

Teams will compete among themselves in the Departmental Design Competition to be held on July 24, 10am. The winning teams from each department will compete for the overall championship in the Dragonair Final Design Competition to be held at 1pm on the same day. Note that the winning teams are not allowed to add new team members when the teams enter the final.

Dragonair Design Competition:

The six winning teams should each prepare a team slogan, a demonstration of the project, and a presentation on "Build a better World with Engineering" (in Cantonese supplemented by English). Each team should make use of the experience and knowledge acquired from the team's project and present ideas as to how to engineer a better world and enhance quality of human life with engineering. Computer, overhead projector and whiteboard will be available to facilitate students in the presentation.

In the final Design Competition, the six teams will be arranged to give presentation one by one. The order of presentation is as follows.

1. MECH 2. CIVIL 3. ELEC/CPEG 4. CENG 5. COMP 6. IELM
