The idea of using the Wii remote control (called the Wiimote) to do 3D
projects was first developed by Johnny Chung Lee, who put his source code and released videos of his work on
his website.
For this program (WIMP) we took his source code and extended it to
build an example 'application layer' of image processing on top of the
real-time 3D display.
