Date: 5 October 2016 (Wednesday)
Time: 6:00pm-7:00pm
Venue: LTF
Title: Ecological Human-Computer Interaction: Recycle, Reuse, and Repurpose Design
Speaker: Dr. Xiaojuan Ma, CSE

Abstract:

Technology is a player in the ecologies between object, people, and environment, rather than merely a medium or tool. Through real-world examples, this talk presents a new way of thinking about innovation in Human-Computer Interaction, i.e., adapting the resourceful everyday objects to embrace emerging technologies, which will ultimately reshape our way of living.
