Job Description:
The appointee will provide support in research & development activities of the centre and he/she is required to:
• Provide software support in either one (or more) of the following areas:
o Machine (deep) Learning;
o Robot vision;
o Data/video analytics; o
o Digital signal processing(DSP) .
• Responsible for system design, simulation & implementation;
• Evaluate technology options;
• Carry out experiments/trials for validations; and
• Other ad hoc engineering assignments.
Job Requirements:
Applicants should have:
• Degree holder in Software/Computing/Electronic Engineering or related disciplines, higher degree is preferable;
• Knowledge/experience of programming languages, for example C, C#, C++, OpenCV and Python etc. will be an advantage;
• Knowledge/experience of using some of the following areas will be an advantage: deep learning- Tensor flow, Caffe , machine vision, point cloud processing, beamforming, firmware design, and so on.;
• Proactive, self-motivated and good communication skills;
• Minimum 5 years relevant post-qualification experience; and
• Immediate available is definite advantage;
• Candidate with less experience may consider as Software Engineer.
