Requirements for IFSS
 
Hardware
 
  • Platform
  • Any system that supports Java 2 Runtime Environment
 
 
  • Free Harddisk Space
  • 85Mb or more for the installation package
  • 650Kb or more for the JAR file package
  • 800Kb or more for the source code package
    (The greater size for the installer is mainly due to the embedded Java)
 
  • RAM
  • 512Mb or more
    (The algorithm used by IFSS requires at least 512Mb to run, otherwise the process cannot be executed)

  • Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP, Unix based OS, Macintosh
 
 
  • Java Version
  • I f you choose the IFSS installation package, no Java installation is required as Java is embedded in the package.
    •  
  • If you choose the IFSS JAR file package, you need to install Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.5.0 or above first in order to execute the program. This can be obtained from the Java homepage.
    •  
  • If you choose the IFSS source code package, you need to install Java SE Development Kit (JDK) 1.5.0 or above first in order to compile and execute the program. This can be obtained from the Java homepage.
