Publication Instructions

Formatting the Camera-Ready Version

The proceedings of WAIM 2010 will be published by the Springer LNCS series. Please download and follow the detailed instructions for preparing the camera-ready version. You can also download the standard LNCS LaTeX2e styles files or Microsoft Word files. Please adhere strictly to the formatting guidelines. Do not tweak any style files or use any non-English fonts. Keep in mind that in addition to the final PDF file, you will also need to submit all your source files (e.g., TeX, PostScript, Word, RTF), as Springer may need to modify them. The page limits are as follows (same for both research and industry tracks):

Full paper      12 pages

Short paper     6 pages

Submitting the Camera-Ready Version

Please prepare a single ZIP archivecontaining the following files:

  • A PDF file named final.pdf containing the final camera-ready version.
  • A text file named README.txt containing the contact author's contact information, including email address. Springer may use this information to contact you if any formatting problem arises.
  • All your source and intermediate files. Make sure all file names use plain ASCII (English) characters. If you use LaTeX, please include:
    • TEX files for the text;
    • any LaTeX style files, templates, or special fonts used;
    • PS or EPS files for the figures;
    • the final DVI and PS files.
    If you use Word, please include:
    • Word DOC file(s); and
    • RTF (Rich Text Format) file(s).
    The bottomline is that editors and publishers should be able to modify your source file if necessary, and reproduce your final PDF file.

Please use the CMT WAIM 2010 Paper System to upload the ZIP file by April 9, 2010. Please UPDATE your existing paper with the camera-ready version; do NOT withdraw the paper or submit a new paper. In more detail: After logging in, choose edit, then browse to specify the path to your ZIP file to be uploaded, and finally update. The size of the ZIP file should not exceed 1.5MB. The upload path should consist of only ASCII (English) characters; some Asian characters are known to cause problems for the upload function.
