Visualization Overview

Surrounded by overloaded infomation, people need powerful and friendly tools to get arduous statistic job done. In case of making users feel intrested and use their unique capability of detecting patterns instinctly, which computers are lack of, visualization bridges data and breadth of knowledge.This is the motivation of this project, several features are designed to allow clients find relationships among videos, including:
- Efficient sorting
- Animation of item transition and speed control
- Interactive view

Video Summaries Method

Traditional video containers do not provide flexible position rearrange function. So we edit videos in one sequence and then devide them into tiles using HTML5 canvas. By refreshing the process frames, the movement of items from current location to target is captured. 2 websites are given here for reference:

The videos are from TED , a public service organization which promotes the spread of good ideas free to the world.
