ABOUT RON

Ron received his BEng, MPhil, and PhD, all from HKUST in 2007, 2015, and 2017 respectively. His research interests include music emotion, timbre of musical instrument, and audio signal processing.

In addition to teaching, Ron is also a musician. You may check out his SoundCloud page for his compositions.

Ron has recently developed a Java program called ChordFinder for figuring out guitar chords. You can check it out here.
