bio

Currently, I am in Hong Kong, pursuing a Ph.D. at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, under the supervision of Prof. Dimitris Papadias. I completed my Bachelor`s and my Master`s studies at the Computer Science Department at the University of Crete. From November '07 to March '10, I was a research assistant at the Information Systems and Software Technology Laboratory of the Institute of Computer Science, at the Foundation for Research and Technology, Hellas (ICS-FORTH), under the supervision of Prof. Yannis Tzitzikas. My research interests apart from spatial, spatio-temporal databases include information retrieval systems.
