I'm currently a Software Development Engineer working for the Web Understanding Team at Microsoft Bing.

Prior to joining Microsoft, I have got my PhD from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, HKUST. My supervisor is Prof. Qiang Yang. You can check my academic genealogy tree here. My PhD research focused on sensor-based activity recognition using machine learning and data mining techniques. Now I'm working on entities and recommendation systems.
