Brief  Biography

     I am now a PostDoc of Prof. Gary Chan at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Kowloon, Hong Kong. I received the B.Eng degree (cum laude) in computer science and technology from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering from HKUST, in 2007.

     I was awarded the Microsoft Research Asia Fellowship in 2005. I am a junior editor of the Journal of Multimedia since April 2006, and on the Editorial Board of the Canadian Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences since August 2007. I was the Session Chair for the IEEE ICC 2007 and IEEE CCNC 2007.

Research Interests

     My research interests are in (1) Overlay and peer-to-peer networks; (2) Multimedia networking and media streaming, and; (3) Internet topology inference and end-to-end measurement. I am also interested in wireless development and technologies, from coding to business analysis.
