Title: "Developing a Fast-Deployable Indoor Localization System"

by

TA Ngoc Linh

Abstract:

An Indoor Localization System is a system that provides real-time
positioning service for smartphone users inside a building by leveraging
smartphone sensors such as magnetic field and Wi-Fi. It has been known
that in practice such system requires a lengthy deployment process
mostly because of its time-consuming signal surveying stage. This thesis
presents new techniques to survey and process signal data which can
reduce the total time needed to deploy Indoor Localization for a big
building to one week.
