Job Description:
Job Brief
As a Computer Vision Engineer at R2C2, you will develop features for the ARC platform, enabling real-time communication, long-distance control, and automation for robots to aid inspections in various industries such as construction, transportation, and property management. You will be focusing on multi-camera streaming and multi-client viewing/broadcasting systems. You will also be developing Computer vision algorithms for inspection purposes.
There are two teams: the project team and the product team. In the product team, you will be working closely with our system architect to design, engineer, and implement a scalable and stable backend to support users to send robot control commands, and retrieve robot data and video streams at scale. It would be very similar to a home security camera application but with more advanced and stricter requirements on video stream latency.
In the project stream, you will be helping develop customized solutions with our product for our clients. You will help gather user feedback, consolidate project feedback, and convert it into product features. Your work has to fulfill the user requirement in a maintainable manner.
Responsibilities
Collect data, train and develop AI models or Computer vision inspection algorithm.
Develop, maintain and deploy computer vision inspection algorithm or AI models in actual applications
Perform basic testing
Continously go through the most updated research papers and study the feasibility to integrate with the product line.
Job Requirements:
- Solid software programming skills with Clean coding style (Python, C/C++ etc)
- Knowledge of deep learning theory (i.e: Convolution Neural Network such as YOLOv4, SSD, ImageNet etc)
- Knowledge and Experience in fine tuning models
- Knowledge of basic deep learning libraries and frameworks(i.e:Tensorflow, Pytorch etc)
- Knowledge of using OpenCV, Pillow etc- Knowledge and Experience of Docker and Git
- Other AI/ML knowledge (Example: SVM, KMeans, Tree-base model etc)
