Job Description:
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing software, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead the development, testing, and deployment of mobile applications
● Manage and update existing web applications
● Lead the projects of digitalization and automation of internal processes
● Work closely with cross-functional teams to align app and website features with company objectives and user needs
● Ensure high-performance and responsiveness of applications and website
● Implement effective solutions for data security and privacy
● Manage the entire lifecycle of the software development process
● Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
● Stay abreast of emerging trends in software development, especially in health tech
● Other tasks assigned by his/her direct manager
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications
● Bachelor/ Master/ PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
● Proven experience in mobile app and web development
● Strong proficiency in any of the following languages: Kotlin, Swift, Java, JavaScript and/or python
● Experience with and of the following frameworks and platforms: Vapor, SwiftUI, Angular, Nodejs and/or React Native
● Knowledge of cloud computing and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
● Understanding of databases and SQL (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Nice to have
● Experience developing software in a startup environment is a plus
● Experience with machine learning and data analytics is a plus
● Proficiency in Chinese, both written and spoken, is a plus
● Immediate availability is a plus
