Degrees with Dual Program Designations
Double-major BSc Degree Programs
The Computer Science and Engineering Department offers a BSc in Computer Science program in addition to its existing BEng in Computer Science. This special program, however, is not intended for students to take it by itself. It is designed for students who wish to graduate with a double-major BSc degree, i.e., when enrolling in this BSc program in Computer Science, students are also required to declare study in another BSc program. They are then required to complete the requirements of both BSc degrees, and will receive a BSc degree with two program designations upon graduation. For further details, refer to the COMP BSc Program page.
Double-major BEng Degree Programs
Elite students in Computer Science and Engineering Department may pursue a second major within the School of Engineering.
Students with CGA of A- or above may apply for a dual program designation. Students with lower qualification will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The declaration should be made no earlier than the second semester of the first year of study and at the latest before the end of the add/drop period of the student's final semester of study.
