FYP Posters
The CSE Department requires a poster from every FYP group and every FYT student. Please see the CSE FYP Posters page for size specifications. After you make your poster, you must upload your file to the FYPMS by the deadline (usually early May.)
Tips for preparing your poster
- Look at the previous year's FYP posters in the glass cases outside Room 3558.
- Select the most interesting points of your project.
- Present your system information in a graph or flow chart.
- Edit your text until you are left with the essential information.
- Ask your CT to proof-read your poster.
- Check out the Colorado State University information on Poster Sessions
- Review the information from LANG 306 English for Engineering Students III, Part 1, Samples of Posters.
Common errors
- Too much text on Implementation.
- Boring - too much text in general; salient points missing.
- Poor time management - Not planning your time well enough to get your English edited before the deadline. (Grammatical errors in big print don’t look too cool!)
